Lawsuit to be filed against Ruben Hayrapetyan
On October 8, a lawsuit will be instituted against Ruben Hayrapetyan, a former MP and President of the Football Federation of Armenia.
The lawsuit will be filed by ethnographer Hranush Kharatyan, member of "Vahe Avetyan" initiatve group Garegin Chugaszyan, and activist David Sanasaryan who are disputing Ruben Hayrapetyan's insults hurled against them during his interview with Nouvelles d'Arménie monthly.
During the interview, Ruben Hayrapetyan insulted the aforesaid people as well as all activists who are demanding fair punishment for him.
On June 17, military surgeon Vahe Avetyan was mercilessly beaten up at Harsnakar restaurant owned by Ruben Hayrapetyan. Despite doctors' efforts to save his life, the 33-year-old father of two children died in hospital twelve days later, without regaining consciousness.
