Minister’s official “tour” starts
Armenian Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan goes today on a working visit to Austria. Then he will pay a visit to Italy.
Minister Davtyan will attend a forum of ministers of Caucasian and Central Asian states to be held in Vienna on September 25-26. Issues related to trade, investment, finance, tourism, and energy, as well as new opportunities of economic cooperation will be discussed at the event.
On September 26 Tigran Davtyan will meet with Deputy Director General for External Trade of the European Commission Peter Balas and a number of other high-ranking officials.
Minister Davtyan will be on a visit to Rome on September 26-28.
On September 27 he will have meetings with Italy's Minister of Economic Development Corrado Passera, Minister of Tourism and Sport Piero Gnudi, and President of Italy's Chamber of Commerce and Industry Santo Santoro.
A business forum is scheduled to take place in Rome on September 28, with the participation of about 200 Italian businessmen. Armenia's investment opportunities and business climate will also be discussed during the forum, the press service of the Ministry of Economy reported.
