Soda in dairy products
Support A1+!A fine of 300,000 drams will be imposed on 7 out of the 11 milk and dairy product companies in Armenia. The State Food Safety Service conducted studies, revealing that foodstuffs of Tamara and Ani, Biokat, Dustr Marianna, Arzni Kat, Ashatarak Kat, Multi Group, and Tamara companies contain soda and milk powder.
"The technical regulations of milk and dairy products do not envisage the presence of soda as it allows reduce acidiy of milk and increase its keeping time," Head of the State Food Safety Service Abram Bakhchagulyan said.
He assured us that the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition (SCPEC) will be informed about the violations and stiff fines will be imposed.
