President’s press speaker confirmed meeting with Samvel Balasanyan
As "A1+" already informed, according to our sources, deputy leader of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), potential Gyumri mayor candidate Samvel Balasanyan had a meeting with Serzh Sargsyan today. "A1+" was able to contact Serzh Sargsyan's press speaker Armen Arzumanyan.
When asked if there had been a meeting at the presidential residence and what issues had been discussed and if the sides discussed the nomination for mayor of Gyumri, Serzh Sargsyan's press speaker said: "The President has several meetings throughout the day, but there are no official press releases regarding those meetings."
When "A1+" specifically asked if Serzh Sargsyan had had a meeting with Samvel Balasanyan, Armen Arzumanyan mentioned: "I already gave you my answer". We also asked if Serzh Sargsyan had already decided whom he would be supporting in the elections for mayor of Gyumri, but Armen Arzumanyan refused to answer that question and said: "I can't say anything else."
