“Tsarukyan’s bodyguards had nothing to do with it”
Statement of correspondent for public relations of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Tigran Urikhanyan
"Recently some presses are touching upon an incident that took place in 2007 in an attempt to link that to Multi Group and leader of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Gagik Tsarukyan's bodyguards, like one of the media outlets did today. It is clear that some presses are trying to connect some cases to leader of the party Gagik Tsarukyan that they have made up, modified at their discretion and have added with details that don't correspond to the reality.
It is clear that certain circles of Armenia's government are concerned about the BHK leader's high reputation, as well as the BHK's great confidence.
Everyone knows what happened in 2007 and how the Russian soldier died. Everyone also knows that none of Gagik Tsarukyan's bodyguards had anything to do with that. I must say that the party is aware of the mechanisms used to fulfill orders. Guided by the infamous principle of "the bigger the lie, the faster it will spread", some presses funded by the government and fulfilling a state order have probably set the objective to distract the public's attention from the real challenges and problems facing the country.
Those spreading the misinformation can't even imagine that their old instruments are so dilettante that they are revealed in a matter of minutes in any newspaper or on any website."
