19th anniversary of liberation of Martakert

President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan on 28 June participated in the festivities dedicated to the 19th anniversary of the liberation of the city of Martakert at the center of the Martakert region.

The head of state viewed the liberation of Martakert as one of the most significant military and political victories in our national liberation struggle.

Then, Bako Sahakyan handed state awards to several freedom fighters of the Artsakh war.

Among the participants were deputies of the National Assembly of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and government officials, as well as guests from Armenia and abroad.
