HHK member on charges against Oskanian
Money laundering charges cannot be trumped up. Nor can the criminal case filed against ex-foreign minister have political colouring, Hovhannes Sahakyan, a member of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) said when commenting on the money laundering charges against ex-foreign minister Vartan Oskanian and his Civilitas Foundation.
Sahakyan believes that the political system is established in Armenia; it was in the past that people were sued for their political orientation.
"The system that was introduced by the expression of free will of my teammates, and the right to free speech are already established. Today no one is persecuted for his political views. Someone wants to tarnish our good name, that much," he said.
