Vartan Ayvazyan: "BHK is a normal party"
Today's debate between Vartan Ayvazyan (Republican Party of Armenia -HHK) and Anush Sedrakyan (Free Democrats) turned into a real ‘race.'
They expressed different opinions about the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK). Anush Sedrakyan said that the BHK is not going to quit the levers of power; accordingly one can assume that ‘business is sponsored by the state.'
In his turn, Vartan Ayvazyan noted that economic levers are not only concentrated in the hands of the ruling parties.
"BHK is a normal power," this is how he characterized the party.
Asked why political forces are punished for their misdeeds after expressing their oppositional stance and whether the same fate is awaiting [BHK leader] Gagik Tsarukyan, the HHK member said, "It may happen to anyone, even to me."
With regard to Azerbaijan's recent sabotage along the borderline, Vartan Ayvazyan said if Azerbaijan were sure of its military and political advantage, it would not wait even a minute.
Anush Sedrakyan added that outer forces are directing Azerbaijan in its actions.
