A protest rally is due to take place outside the presidential residence in Yerevan on June 7. The participants of the protest action will hand letters to the Armenian President and Foreign Affairs Minister, expressing their discontent over the recent sabotage of Azerbaijani armed forces in Armenia's village of Chinari.

The procession starts from Aram Khachaturyan Statue at 11a.m.

In the letters addressed to the country's leadership, the Hayazn Union NGO said tens of Armenian soldiers are killed as a result of Azerbaijani attacks grows annually.
"It is generally believed that Armenian Armed Forces give an adequate response to the enemy but the number of Armenian soldiers killed in Azerbaijani attacks is growing annually.

"The events we witness today are a consequence of irresponsible step of the Armenian political and military leadership who left the liberation war unfinished in 1994.
Instead of forcing the aggressor to conclude peace, official Yerevan was involved in a senseless negotiation process which aimed to get Armenia to cede territories.
In its turn, Baku is delaying time to prepare the end of the war according to its scenario.

We demand that the Armenian authorities
-give relevant response to the losses of the recent years
- stop mediatory, non-mediatory and brokered diplomatic contacts with the enemy
- never discuss any proposal concerning territorial concession.
-strengthen the line of defense and get ready for new attacks by Azerbaijan, at the same time announcing the price that Azerbaijan has to pay in case it restarts military operations," reads the letter.
