“BHK had to form the government”
"Do you think the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) will be sad to see that Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) won't be joining the coalition?" this is what member of the Republic Party's political council Suren Abrahamyan said in response to "A1+"'s observation that the BHK's refusal to join the coalition meant that Levon Ter-Petrosyan managed to thrust a wedge in the relations between the BHK and the HHK and relieve himself of the coalition.
Abrahamyan said that wasn't the case because, according to him, Prosperous Armenia Party garnered more votes and should have been the one forming the government.
"In that case, they would say the party took a daring and appreciable step," said Abrahamyan.
