Leader of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Serzh Sargsyan and his wife, Rita Sargsyan today arrived at polling station N 9/11 stationed in school N 24 after Spendiaryan an hour late. Rita Sargsyan was greeted with flowers at the polling station, and all voters stopped voting while they were there.

As Mr. and Mrs. Sargsyan were placing their closed envelopes in the ballot box, they got confused for a moment, and Serzh Sargsyan was reminded that he had to submit his passport so that it could be stamped. When this polling station today recorded that the stamp disappeared earlier than usual, by the CEC's permission, the head of the electoral commission changed the ink, and now the stamp no longer disappears. Serzh Sargsyan's passport was also stamped with a non-oxidizing stamp.

In a blitz interview, Serzh Sargsyan thanked the political parties for a civilized election campaign and noted that he had great expectations from the new parliament. When one of the Georgian journalists asked what the new parliament's objective would be, Serzh Sargsyan said he would answer that question after the parliament was formed.

Armenian National Congress (HAK) candidate Levon Zurabyan's proxy got into a dispute with members of the precinct commission in relation to oxidization of stamps and prepared a protocol.

The voters at the polling station are currently waiting for HAK leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan to arrive. Leader of "Heritage" Party Raffi Hovhannisian and deputy of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Ruben Sadoyan will also be voting here.

At 11:30 this polling station has already registered 225 votes.
