Harout Pamboukjian: "My work is to sing"
During a May 1 concert at Yerevan's Liberty Square Heritage Party Leader Raffi Hovannisian reiterated that ‘faith and unity can make it possible to move mountains.'
"May 7 will not be a victorious day for the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK), Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), Armenian Revolutionary Federation -Dashnaktsutyun or Heritage. On that day, the Armenian flag will hover in the country of our children," he said.
Armenian singers Ruben Hakhvardyan and Harout Pamboukjian (Dzakh Harout), who had arrived from the United States at the invitation of Raffi Hovannisian, performed at the concert.
The Heritage leader said a great surprise is awaiting Armenians on May 6 - the day when the country holds parliamentary elections.
"On that day, Armenians will be able to change power in their liberated land by constitutional means and get a majority in the National Assembly," said Mr Hovannisian.
Though Harout Pamboukjian supports Raffi Hovannisian, he says he is not interested in politics.
"My job is to sing. I have been friends with Raffi since my childhood and Raffi is an embodiment of honesty for me, so today I am here to back him," said the singer.
In the end, he urged Armenians to join efforts in the fight against emigration.
