Lay Judge in Breivik trial dismissed over death penalty comments
One of the three lay judges trying Norwegian killer Anders Behring Breivik was dismissed this morning after he posted a comment on Facebook calling for the extremist to be executed, Daily Telegraph reports.
Thomas Indreboe was dismissed after he said that the anti-Muslim extremist deserves the death penalty for killing 77 people in a bomb-and-shooting massacre.
The trial of Norwegian mass killer Anders Behring Breivik began on April 16, with the defendant shocking the public.
He arrived at an Oslo courthouse under armed guard, clenching his fist in a far-right salute and saying he did not recognise the authority of the judges as ‘they got their political mandate from forces that support multiculturalism." later, he was reduced to tears when watching a footage about the terrorist attacks in which he killed 77 people, mostly teenagers.
Breivik, 33, is charged with terrorism and premeditated murder for a bombing in Oslo's government district, killing eight, and a shooting attack at a political youth camp, killing 69.
