IAEA delegation to visit Armenia
A delegation of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) led by Director General Yukiya Amano is due to arrive in Armenia on April 18.
In Yerevan, the IAEA director will hold meetings with Armenian President, Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and Minister of Energy and Natural Resources.
The IAEA delegation will also visit the Armenian nuclear power plant. The sides will discuss the construction of a new nuclear power plant in Armenia, which is planned to start in 2013.
The RA Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources has announced that the old nuclear power plant will continue operating until the new plant is put into operation.
