The Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) is not going to transfer money to the bank account of Samvel Alexanian, a HHK-affiliated oligarch.

"We do not have money," head of the HHK faction Galust Sahakyan said during today's parliamentary briefings.
The Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktustyun also refused to delight the Republican oligarch.

"We can only give money for our candidates," said ARF member Artsvik Minasyan.

In reply to a journalist's question whether he did not feel pity for the oligarch, who had to deprive his multi-member family of a livelihood in order to recoup his campaign expenses. Mr Minasyan said, "If we come to power, we shall allocate flats and a monthly assistance of 60000 drams (for each child) to all businessmen, who claim to be raising multiple children."

The Rule of Law (OEK) does not intend to give ‘any coin' during the elections and urges the other parties to follow suit.

OEK representative Heghine Bisharyan says it will be much easier for her party to be elected without distributing money.

"I believe that we can double our chances with our assiduous work," she said.

During the briefings, Galust Sahakyan advised his teammate Ruben Hayrapetyan not to argue with Nikol Pashinyan [opposition candidate who is running for parliament in Constituency 7] in order to avoid gathering spectators and further consequences.

Heritage and Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) did not participate in the parliamentary briefings.
