OEK suggests creating separate structure
As part of the election campaign for the upcoming parliamentary elections, "Country of Law" Party (OEK) today presented the party's views on solving the key issues facing the disabled during a meeting held with many disabled persons, reports the OEK press service.
In his speech, leader of the OEK Artur Baghdasaryan underlined the importance of offering structural solutions to the issues concerning the disabled since provisional views on these issues are ineffective and inacceptable.
Taking into account the large number of disabled persons in Armenia, the OEK suggests following the example of several EU-member countries and creating a separate state structure in charge of solving issues concerning the disabled, which will provide the opportunity to keep the issues concerning the disabled in the government's focus.
