HHK, HAK candidates to compete in Syunik marz
The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) has nominated MP Vahe Hakobyan by the majoritarian system. Hakobyan runs for parliament at polling station # 38 which is stationed in Syunik marz.
The candidate, who has been nominated for the third time now, today submitted documents for registration to the to the precinct election commission.
Vahe Hakobyan is the son of the General Manager of Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Plant.
According to rumours, his rival at the polling station will be a representative of the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK).
