Police looking for person who filmed Hrazdan election bribery
The Police Kotayk Regional Department has launched an investigation based upon a news report that appeared in Hetq's February 12 edition. The case is filed against Ashot Danileyan who is charged with hooliganism in accordance with Article 258, part 1 of the Armenian Criminal Code.
The report stated that according to eyewitnesses, individuals were handing out 5,000 AMD bribes from the office of a local real estate board during the recent mayoral election in the town of Hrazdan.
According to eyewitnesses, Danileyan railed at the person who was filming the scene.
The police are requesting that eyewitnesses and the unidentified cameraman contact them at (0223) 2-54-88.
