Two Armenians were elected to the Iranian parliament during the March 2 elections.

Robert Beglaryan represents Jugha, Spahan while Karmen Khanlaryan represents Tehran, Azatutyun (Liberty) radio station reports.

Remind that loyalists of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei won more than 75percent of the country's 290-seat parliament during the March 2 vote, dealing a severe blow to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and condemning him to serve out his term as a lame duck.
