“Oskanyan won’t debilitate BHK”
Press speaker of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Khachik Galstyan told "A1+" that the BHK discussed former foreign minister Vardan Oskanyan's appeal to join the political party yesterday and upheld it. When asked if Oskanyan's membership wouldn't debilitate the party, recalling his role in the massacres of 1 March 2008, Galstyan said: "No, he won't. March 1 is the tragedy of the entire Armenian nation and we shouldn't personify it."
Galstyan said he had no information about the RA President's former press secretary Victor Soghomonyan appealing to join the political party.
We add that the BHK will hold a special congress on March 17 at the Sport-Concert Complex to discuss issues related to the upcoming parliamentary elections to be held on May 6.
