These elections far from being the free and fair elections our authorities promised to hold, Heritage MP Armen Martirosyan told A1+.

The opposition parliamentarian, who is personally following the mayoral elections in Hrazdan, says the authorities have applied all administrative resources to ensure the victory of their candidate [incumbent mayor Aram Danielyan].

"We have videos showing them distributing money. Each citizen is said to have received about 5000 drams," said the Heritage MP.

Armen Martirosyan says the mayoral elections in Hrazdan will cast a shadow upon the upcoming parliamentary elections reducing public confidence in the authorities.
The deputy observed tension in all polls but the atmosphere was most heated in Kochor district where he noticed overcrowding in and outside the constituency.
While A1+'s reporter was talking to Mr Martirosyan, one of the voters, Zarzand Matevosyan left the constituency saying, "I made a choice to my taste."

The chief of the local police Armen Israyelyan was personally keeping public order in the city.
