"PAP has no reasons not to support Serzh Sargsyan"
Member of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Vardan Bostanjyan says there is no lack of confidence between PAP and its senior coalition partner Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).
"The tension is resulted by competition, everyone wants to win, it is quite natural," Mr. Bostanjyan told reporters on February 1.
With regard to the recent meeting of the coalition heads at the presidential residence, the PAP representative said ‘it was decided to do everything possible to hold gold elections in the country.' At the same time, Vardan Bostanjyan did not rule out that the coalition forces might sign a new document ‘if need be.'
Speaking about the 2013 presidential elections, the PAP member said, "The Prosperous Armenia Party sees no reasons not to support Serzh Sargsyan. We are committed to the coalition memorandum."
