Senate discussing genocide issue
The French Senate is currently discussing the draft law criminalizing Armenian Genocide denial (http://www.assemblee-nationale.tv/direct.htm.).
The draft law will be put up for a vote after the discussion. If passed, each person denying the Armenian Genocide perpetrated by Ottoman Turkey in 1915 will be punished with a 1 year sentencing or will pay a 45,000 Euro fine.
