Putin ready to resign
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, who intends to get reelected as president, has declared that he won't stay in office for a minute, if he senses lack of public support.
He is currently answering questions from residents of all Russian cities and provinces on live television.
"I can clearly say that if I sense lack of public support (and the lack of that is not determined by comments on websites or at the square, but through the results of democratic elections), I won't stay in my office anymore," the incumbent Russian PM declared during a live television program "Interview with Vladimir Putin".
Putin has been speaking to his voters in this format for five hours already.
