HAK convenes session
The political council of the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) held a regular session on Wednesday to discuss issues related to HAK's march to be held on December 10- Human Rights Day. The meeting also discussed HAK's program concerning the return of deposits. In this context, it was decided to present an inquiry to the Ministry of Finance.
The participants also discussed the principles of cooperation with other political forces over legislative amendments in order to ensure transparent and fair elections.
The alliance also expressed its condolences to the relative and families of the 1988 earthquake and discussed the situation in the disaster zone, underlining that about 6300 families still remain homeless despite the authorities' numerous pledges. In the meantime, the authorities, indulged in corruption and illegitimacy, are lavishly enjoying life.
The political council instructed HAK's economic committee to elaborate a comprehensive plan for the disaster zone in the shortest possible timeframe.
