Seyran Ohanyan receives 50 citizens
RA Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan today met with 50 citizens who presented their issues of concern. Among participants of the meeting were six parents of soldiers who died in the army in peace, the relatives of deceased freedom fighters, disabled soldiers, reserve officers and parents of soldiers serving in the army.
According to the MD Department of Information and Public Relations, the parents of the deceased soldiers "received clarifications from the Minister of Defense regarding the criminal cases instigated in relation to the deaths of their sons".
After hearing the parents' comments on the preliminary investigations, Seyran Ohanyan assigned the corresponding subdivisions to study the parents' considerations regarding the preliminary investigation and present professional conclusions.
"The issues of the parents of disabled soldiers, freedom fighters and soldiers, as well as the relatives of deceased freedom fighters were mainly related to society, health and living conditions. Most of the citizens received affirmative responses," as stated in the ministry's message.
