“Police are intimidating people”
The Armenian National Congress is holding a recurrent rally in downtown Yerevan on Friday. Meanwhile, new roadblocks are reported at all major thoroughfares connecting marzes with Yerevan.
Coordinator of the ANC Foreign Relations Committee Vladimir Karapetyan says that the inter-city public transportation has been disrupted between Yerevan and Sevan, Etchmadzin and Eghvard.
As usual, buses and minibuses driving to the capital are removed from the route, bus stations are almost deserted.
"In the city of Etchmaidzin people are threatened and intimidated against attending the ANC rally," said the ANC official.
