Ambassador meets Sargsyan
Newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Senegal to Armenia Mamadu Saliu Diuf (seat in Moscow) presented his credentials to Serzh Sargsyan today.
Sargsyan congratulated the Ambassador on starting his diplomatic mission in our country and wished him success. Mentioning that Armenian attaches importance to the cooperation with the African Union that is gradually strengthening its positions in Africa and other parts of the world, Serzh Sargsyan appreciated Senegal's participation in peacekeeping processes and its position favoring peace and cooperation.
The sides attached importance to cooperation within the framework of international organizations, including Francophone, which may become a good prerequisite for the development and strengthening of bilateral ties.
Serzh Sargsyan and Senegal's Ambassador also touched upon regional issues, reports the President's press service.
