Soldier killed on border
An opponent sniper shot and killed temporary soldier Aren Simonyan (born in 1992).
The incident took place on November 19 at 08:40 while the soldier was on-duty at the Defense Army's combat position of the maintenance site of one of the military units located toward the south.
The details regarding the incident are being cleared up and investigation is underway, reports the NK Defense Army's Press and Propaganda Department.
In addition to ceasefire violations, the Defense Army's on-duty anti-air defense forces have verified flights of UFOs belonging to the Azerbaijani air forces in the opponent air territory.
According to the press release, the opponent has violated the ceasefire regime nearly 150 times on the line of contact of the Karabakhi-Azerbaijani forces.
The Azerbaijani Army's frontline subdivisions have fired more than 1,000 shots toward the positions in Karabakh with guns of varying diameters. The violations were more intensive on November 13 and 19.
During those two days, the opponent has opened fire nearly 500 times toward the Armenian positions. The Armenian side has suffered a loss.
