Silva Hambardzumyan already has bodyguards
Armenian businesswoman Silva Hambardzumyan today gave testimony in the Special Investigative Service (SIS) stating that she had been hit by Syunik Marzpet (Governor) Surik Khachatryan on the evening of November 14 in the Armenia Marriott Hotel in Yerevan.
"I began the testimony with a press conference and told the SIS the details of the Monday incident when Surik Khachatryan attacked me in the hotel lobby and punched me in the head," Silva Hambardzumyan told A1+.
Today, the Chief of Armenia's Police Vladimir Gasparyan satisfied the businesswoman's demand to provide her with bodyguards.
"No agreement has been reached on the terms of the service," said Hambardzumyan.
Remind that the SIS launched a criminal case on November 15 based on Hambardzumyan's allegations. Today the SIS issued a statement, saying that disclosure of any information on the criminal case wouldn't be in the best interest of the ongoing investigation.
