Heghine Bisharyan, head of the Country of Law (OYK) parliamentary group, does not lay any claims to the post of parliament vice-speaker or speaker, OYK MP Khachik Harutyunyan said during today's parliamentary briefing.

Heghine Bisharyan was not present at the briefing as she was participating in the inauguration of Yerevan Mayor.

The government plans to collect an additional 101 billion drams in the form of tax revenues in 2012 which can only be made possible through inflation, said Heritage MPs who are going to vote against the draft budget.

ARF-Dashnaktsutyun also disapproves the bill, saying the important document with its faultiness can have serious consequences.

In the meantime, the coalition parties took the opportunity to hail the bill and its advantages.

"The draft budget is quite realistic; it ensures social guarantees and complies with possible developments in the economy," Republican MP Artak Zakaryan said.

Along with expressing an opinion on the budget, members of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) also referred to the November 13 mayoral election in Armenia's northern Ijevan city, as a result of which BHK member Vardan Ghalumyan was elected Ijevan Mayor with 1638 votes. Immediately after the vote, former Mayor Varujan Nersisyan (Republican Party) announced that the BHK had bribed voters and rigged the election.

"If Ijevan's former mayor continues to speak of vote buying, then worse might be said about him," said BHK MP Naira Zohrabyan.
