Today, the Ministry of Transport and Communication has sent a reply to A1+'s inquiry about the disruption of interurban transport during the October 28 rally of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC).

"The Ministry's Transport Inspectorate has carried out checkups on Yerevan-Artashat route and revealed that minibus N 104 which transports passengers from the villages of Marmarashen, Kharberd and Ayntap operated according to the schedule on the day of the rally," the Ministry said in its reply.

Remind that on October 28, A1+'s camcorder recorded how the disputed minibus started the route from a sentry in Yerevan's Noragavit district and did not pass through the aforesaid villages (http://www.a1plus.am/am/social/2011/10/28/roads).

On the same day, our camera recorded citizens who were complaining of disrupted transport communication between Artashat and Yerevan.

According to our information, the route is owned by a relative of parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan.
"We cannot check all the routes at the same time, hence some violations may remain unnoticed," said Petros Demirtchyan, Spokesman for theMinistry of Transport and Communication.

By law, the license of a transport company can be revoked if it breaks the schedule twice in a year.
