Iranian FM discontent with report
"Armenia and Iran have no problems," Armenia's Foreign Minister announced today after a meeting with his Iranian counterpart who is on his first visit to Armenia.
"There are no problems that we can't solve during our meetings," Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan announced.
In general, Iran has problems, but not with Armenia. In the next couple of days, MAGATE will present its report on the creation of a nuclear weapon in Iran. The Iranian foreign minister doesn't agree with the report. He has been Iran's representative to MAGATE and has headed Iran's Nuclear Agency and says "Iran doesn't intend to produce nuclear weapons".
"If we wanted to produce them, we would simply make an announcement and start production," the Iranian foreign minister declared during a joint press conference with Nalbandyan.
According to Salehi, MAGATE's report will be a political report, not juridical or technical. The foreign minister calls on MAGATE to differentiate between nuclear weapons and missiles with nuclear heads.
"A missile with a nuclear head is not a nuclear weapon. We can't declare that someone is a criminal for his desire," Salehi said.
Salehi warns that nobody can have an influence on Iran's will and that the expected report will call MAGATE's reputation into question.
