During today's opposition rally in Yerevan's Liberty Square, Armenia's former Prime Minister Hrant Bagratyan urged the acting authorities not to close the nuclear power plant unless they opened a new NPP.

In his speech, Bagratyan dwelt on the country's economic situation, underlining that the official figures about economic progress do not correspond to reality. He accused the government of providing false data on economic indicators.

The former prime minister is going to request Serzh Sargsyan to set up a commission to estimate the real picture of viticulture since the real volume of grape is fabricated. If proved mistake, Bagratyan is ready to praise Serzh Sargsyan.

He also proposed new tax changes, at the same time enumerating the government's drawbacks. He suggested setting the minimum wage at AMD 75 000.
The ex-PM labeled the government's economic policy as "marasmic," "instinctive cunning."
