ANC rally kicks off at Liberty Square
The recurrent rally of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) has launched in Yerevan's Liberty Square to the tune of the national anthem.
ANC ralliers honored the victims of the October 27, 1999 parlaimentary carnage with a minute's silence.
ANC senior representatives Nikol Pashinyan, Sasun Mikaelyan, Aram Sargsyan at the head of ANC leader and Armenia's First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan have also arrived at the site.
As an A1+ correspondent reported from the ground, the square is overcrowded and more people are joining the ralliers from marzes. A group of people have just arrived at the square from Maralik, a city in Armenian province (marz) of Shirak.
Unlike the previous rallies, fewer policemen are seen on the site.
The slogan of the rally is "Serzhik, go away!"
