NA Speaker interrupts Heritage MP
Today the National Assembly started its four-day sitting. Before confirming the draft agenda of the 10th convocation, opposition Heritage faction MP Stepan Safaryan asked whether the Armenian parliament was going to withdraw the controversial Armenian-Turkish protocols from the NA agenda, thereby relieving everyone of the burden of the documents.

Displeased with the parliament speaker's response, Safaryan said, "The protocols threaten Armenia's foreign policy and the country's security. Consequently, they affect recognition of the Armenian Genocide on an international level and our lobbyists. We urge to..."
Hovik Abrahamyan did not allow the deputy to finish his sentence saying his time was up.
After confirming the agenda of the four-day sitting, the National Assembly started to discuss the legislative initiatives discussed at the previous sitting.
