“Black cat crossed between BHK and HHK”
The articles on relations between the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) and Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) are groundless, says politologist Ruben Mehrabyan. "I don't think those relations will improve and will deepen further. We could say a black cat has crossed between them."
The politologist says the reason is the clash of interests between both political forces. "The system isn't justifying itself and something needs to change. The interests of the oligarchs of both forces have clashed," says Ruben Mehrabyan.
Are there more oligarchs within the BHK or the HHK? In response, Mehrabyan said there was only one oligarch within the BHK.
Ruben Mehrabyan doesn't rule out the possibility of an alliance between the BHK, Robert Kocharyan and Hovik Abrahamyan before the upcoming parliamentary elections. "There are numerous irrational decisions and I see many grounds," the politologist said.
Politologist Yervand Bozoyan also says the BHK-Robert Kocharyan-Hovik Abrahamyan alliance is unserious. As for the current relations between the HHK and the BHK, particularly the fact that Serzh Sargsyan has laid the condition for Gagik Tsarukyan to make a decision a week before the parliamentary elections, Bozoyan said: "The BHK has a higher rating than the HHK. Some are trying to solve that issue so that the coalition is united during the upcoming parliamentary elections and are imposing a coalition document stating that the three forces, including the HHK, the BHK and "Country of Law" Party (OEK) will be united as one."
Yervand Bozoyan says those imposing the signing of such a document can make a serious mistake.
Leader of BHK Gagik Tsarukyan's press speaker Khachik Galstyan told "A1+" that the BHK still hasn't received any offer or demand from the HHK. Touching upon the rumors about the BHK-Robert Kocharyan-Hovik Abrahamyan alliance, he said: "There is no such thing. That is just an assumption."
