ANC ends its nonstop rallies
Starting October 8, the opposition alliance Armenian National Congress (ANC) will demand the immediate resignation of Serzh Sargsyan, ANC Leader levon Ter-Petrosyan announced at Liberty Square on Saturday.
The ANC today decided to terminate its nonstop rallies which was immediately disapproved by the rally participants. However, as Levon Ter-Petrosyan said the ralliers should follow the Congress decision and get ready for round-the-clock sit-in.
ANC senior member and chief editor of Haykakan Zhamanak daily, Nikol Pashinyan, said in his turn, that when they return to the square, Serzh Sargsyan and Robert Kocharyan will have to leave Armenia on foot.
The opposition bloc will discuss its further steps during its next rally due on October 28.
