After hearing speeches by Serzh Sargsyan and Nikola Sarkozy given near Liberty Square and ended with the opening of the statue of Roden, a large group of youth entered Liberty Square and joined the action participants.

This is what editor-in-chief of "Haykakan Zhamanak" daily Nikol Pashinyan announced at the rally and mentioned that even though those youth were forced to come to the event, the regime wasn't able to go against the youth's free will. "This was like the 26th of February," Nikol Pashinyan said.

Let us remind that on 26 February 2008, Serzh Sargsyan had organized a rally at Republic Square with his voters. All participants of the rally left Serzh Sargsyan's meeting and left for Liberty Square where there were round-the-clock rallies taking place with the demand for declaring the February 19 presidential elections as invalid and organizing snap elections.

Nikol Pashinyan announced that last evening, a drunk businessman came to Liberty Square and spoke to him. When Pashinyan asked him not to come to the square drunk, the person said: "You know, I am drinking to you. I have been drinking ever since the rallies began. It is hard to come here when you have a lot to lose, but I drank two cups to have enough strength to come here and shake your hand."

"Don't be afraid, people. Don't break down. We will support you. Come here and together will be able to overcome all fears and free ourselves of this bandit regime. We are going to win," Nikol Pashinyan said.
