Vardan Minsayan announces national squad against Macedonia, Ireland
Chief coach of the Armenian national football team Vardan Minasyan announced the national squad to train for the coming UEFA EURO 2012 qualifiers against Macedonia and Ireland.
The team includes goal-keepers Roman Berezovskiy, (Khimki, Russia) and Gevorg Kasparov (Mika), fullbacks Sargis Hovsepyan (Pyunik), Artur Yuspashyan, Varazdat Haroyan and Artak Yedigaryan (Pyunik), Hrayr Mkoyan (Mika), Robert Arzumanyan (Jagiellonia, Poland), Valeriy Aleksanyan (Sanat Naft, Iran), Levon Hayrapetyan (Lechia, Poland), halfbacks Artur Yedigaryan (Banants), Henrik Mkhitaryan (Shakhtar, Ukraine), Karlen Mkrtchyan (Metallurg, Ukraine), Edgar Malakyan (Pyunik), Araz Ozbilis ("Ayaks" Holandia), Zaven Badoyan (Impuls), forwards Gevork Ghazaryan and Marcos Pizzelli (Metallurg, Ukraine), Edgar Manucharyan (Ural, Russia), Yura Movsisyan (Krasnodar, Russia), Artur Sarkisov (Shinnik Russia).
From October 3 to 10, the national squad will hold training at the Football Academy, the Football Federation of Armenia reported.
