U.S. officials to travel to Armenia
Support A1+!Justin Friedman, the Director of the Office of Caucasus Affairs and Regional Conflicts in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, will travel to Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia from September 28 to October 8.
He is scheduled to hold meetings with government officials and civil society leaders to discuss bilateral issues, as well as issues related to regional peace and stability.
In Armenia, Mr. Friedman will discuss U.S.-Armenia bilateral relations, stressing the strategic and shared interests underlying bilateral cooperation in security, economic, and democratic reforms.
U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Eric S. Rubin will also travel to Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia on October 16-22. He will hold meetings with government officials and civil society leaders to discuss bilateral issues, as well as issues related to regional peace and stability.
