“Heritage” congratulates
"Heritage" Party cordially congratulates citizens of the Republic of Armenia and all Armenians on Independence Day.
"The road to independence was difficult, and the price was very high. It was the thousands of Armenian heroes who sacrificed their lives for Artsakh's liberation and Armenia's independence. The fight for Armenia's independence was an honor and duty of each and every Armenian. Every Armenian was fighting in the cruelest conditions for victory on the battlefield. Going along with the Artsakh battle, we were forced to overcome the effects of the devastating earthquake, the heavy situation caused by Turkey's and Azerbaijan's blockade and finally, the economic crisis caused by the collapse of the USSR. All Armenians around the world stood by Armenia's side in those difficult times. Their moral, political and financial support played a great role in defending independence, and many of our compatriots did their part in achieving victory of the entir enation," as stated in the Party's message.
In that context, the Party calls on Armenians not to forget the political support and tremendous financial assistance provided by the friendly countries without whom Armenians would need to make much more sacrifices.
"The Third Republic, which had a rich heritage in the economic, scientific, educational and cultural realms from the First and Second Republics, had established its independence and come out victorious in the liberation war on the threshold of the 21st century, had to have embodied the dreams of all Armenians and become the Armenian state that had ever existed throughout millennia," as stated in the message.
It is also stated that the newly independent Armenian still suffers from injustice, illegitimacy and lack of freedom.
"The only thing left is to hope that instead of a policy serving the irrational and sometimes personal interests of all governments of the past two decades, we will have a state-national mindset and efficient governance that will ensure a safe, bright future for all social classes and citizens, to not let Armenians feel strange in their homeland governance and a correct strategy and leave for other countries," as stated in the message.
To achieve the above mentioned goals, "Heritage" calls on combining efforts and proposes a new political alternative with the commitment to create a country that the citizens who founded the Republic dream of, For the sake of Liberty, Citizens and the Republic of Armenia!
