PM meets Stefan Fule
During a September 19 working visit to Brussels, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan had a meeting with EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy, Stefan Fule.
The sides discussed issues related to reforms in Armenia and the executive of joint programs. The PM presented the EU Commissioner for Enlargement and the European Neighborhood Policy the agenda of new reforms comprised of measures in 33 directions aimed at bringing a new sweep to Armenia's actions within the framework of the European Neighborhood Policy.
The government's department of information and public relations informs that the meeting was followed by a joint press conference.
Commissioner Stefan Fule mentioned that the EU Advisory Group would continue to support the Armenian authorities to implement reforms in the most important spheres stated in the Associated Agreement. "We are ready to support your country in implementing pretentious reforms and have already doubled the assistance in this direction."
Fule also stressed that the Eastern Partnership Summit in Warsaw will be an important milestone to reconfirm and bring a new sweep to the Eastern Partnership Plan and bring the participating countries closer to the European Union.
In his turn, Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan mentioned that "Armenia was certain that the announcement regarding the launch of negotiations over the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement won't take long."
