The families of the 10 victims of "March 1" handed over letter expressing their concerns to the Office of the Council of Europe in Yerevan. The letter gives a detailed description of the issues related to the revelation of the murders that took place on March 1 throughout the past years.

During the nearly hour and a half meeting with office director Silvia Zehe, the families expressed their complaints, particularly the complaints about the formulation that the page of "March 1" could be considered turned over in the documents submitted by the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

After the meeting, victim Tigran Khachatryan's mother, Alla Hovhannisyan said the representatives of the Council of Europe Office in Armenia had pledged to be consistent in seeing that the Armenian authorities reveal the 10 murders and added that in addition to the mentioned formulation, the document also included other provisions stating that the murders have to be revealed.

"According to them, the phrase "The page of March 1 can be considered turned over" is out of the context and doesn't express a whole thought," said Alla Hovhannisyan.
