Armenia is entrapped as Turkey is attempting to present Armenian-Turkish relations and the Karabakh issue in one package, a member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation- Dashnaktsutyun said on Wednesday.

Armen Rustamyan says it is urgent for Armenia to withdraw the Armenian-Turkish Protocols.

"New opportunities have opened for Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem in the international arena. Today these two countries can settle the package the way they like," Rustamyan told A1+.

"Similarly, we can insist on discussing the issue of Hay Dat (Armenian Cause) in a complete package, placing the responsibly for the Armenian Genocide and occupation of Armenian lands on Turkey," said the ARF-D member.

Note that the Armenian-Turkish Protocols have been removed from the agenda of the Turkish parliament.

Rustamyan expects Turkey to change its tactics if Ankara decides to send the protocols to the parliament.

"Turkey will seize the opportunity to accelerate the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, at the same time stressing its importance in the talks," he said.

"With its move to call back the protocols Armenia will show that it does not denounce Turkey's stance on the documents. Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced repeatedly that the peace deal was initiated by Armenia. I would say the opposite; Armenia is afraid of something. It is Turkey that dictates the rules of the game," said Rustamyan advising the Armenian leadership to activate their steps.
