Heated discussions broke out on Facebook social networking service ahead of the September 9 rally of the Armenian National Congress (HAK). As a rule, Facebook users divided into two opposing camps who are debating over a possible watershed between the coalition government and opposition.

HAK supporters predict a final watershed while supporters of the authorities are skeptical of it, saying the rally will again disappoint Armenians, and first of all, the opposition itself.

The most interesting are the so-called "statuses."
Besides posting different videos and songs ["Autumn," "Homeland," "Hey You" - Pink Floyd, "Madnes"-Mher Manukyan] on their walls, HAK adherents demonstrated creative approaches. They even wrote poems.

One Facebook user,Rafael Tonoyan, wrote; "Almighty God, direct the long-suffering people of Armenia. As a son of Armenia, I have knelt down before you and pray for my nation. Give us willpower, vigilance and perseverance in this decisive moment to save our homeland."

Another Facebook member, Vilen Gabrielyan wrote, "Our march to freedom is irreversible and our victory is inevitable. We must topple down kleptocratic tyrants. Struggle, struggle till the end!"

"Do not be fooled by the tranquility in the streets, it's a halt before the storm!

Revolution has begun, and we are destined to win," said Gohar Simonyan.

Arpi Voskanyan encourages everybody to get rid of despondency, frustration and skepticism.
"Revolution is brewing," she wrote.
