The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia does not think that the cables published by WikiLeaks contain any information on its activity.

"Should there be any information, it would be studied in due order. Press coverage about the Prosecutor's Office and its activities never goes unheeded," Spokesperson for the Prosecutor's Office Sona Truzyan told A1+.

WikiLeaks recently published information on Armenian politicians and officials, in particular cited details as to how police extract information about homosexual officials.

The most interesting among the publications was the letter of former U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Marie Yovanovitch, in which she characterized Armenia's first President Levon Ter-Petrosyan as a "tricky" person.

In reply to our question how the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) took the publications and whether they might affect the relationship between Armenian and U.S. officials, HAK Coordinator Levon Zurabyan said, "There is nothing offensive in the description and it cannot spoil our relations with the USA."

Regarding WikiLeaks and its cables, Zurabyan said, "No comment."
