The "People's TV" Foundation, which was established in defense of "A1+", continues to support "A1+" at a different level.

The Foundation intends to present orders to "A1+" TV, that is, the clients are the people.

"Orders will be given for production of public and people's programs, specifically "A1+". The goal is to create public programs," member of the Foundation's board of trustees Levon Barseghyan told "A1+".

To implement this program, the board of trustees of the "People's TV" Foundation convoked a subsequent session today.

After the session, Mr. Barseghyan informed that now the Foundation needs a governing body, a coordinator and a director that will manage the work for the people's television, that is, the Foundation's activities, fundraisers and order of materials."

Why is there a need to create a new television when there are over ten television stations in Armenia? In response, Mr. Barseghyan said:

"There truly is a need; otherwise, there wouldn't be so many complaints. We can't have television stations not provide people with information about what is going on in the country and have people find out what is going on in other countries from our country's television stations. Unfortunately, this is the state of Armenian television stations."

To what extent is "A1+" ready to accept new orders? "We are technically and professionally ready to accept those orders. I don't see any hindrances," "A1+" TV President Mesrop Movsesyan said.

According to the "A1+" TV President, this means that by continuing its activities, the "People's TV" will give "A1+" the opportunity to add more variety to its broadcast. " "A1+" airs news programs, but from now on it will also broadcast other programs upon the people's request."

Mesrop Movsesyan agrees that today's television stations don't meet the people's demands.

"Quantity doesn't mean quality. Many people don't even imagine what the people need. I think the soap operas that are considered the people's demand are absurd. As a counter-balance, I think the "People's TV" has something to say."
