Sargsyan's response to Medvedev
Serzh Sargsyan has officially responded to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's message related to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution with proposals.
This is what Serzh Sargsyan's press speaker Armen Arzumanyan told "A1+". Arzumanyan fell short of revealing the content and didn't go into details on how the response was transmitted to the Russian President.
Let us remind that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had transmitted Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's message on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution to the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan on July 7-8.
During an official visit to Moscow on July 17 Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammedyarov had handed over Ilham Aliyev's response to the Russian President.
"A1+" tried to find out from the MFA press service if Minister Edward Nalbandyan had taken Sargsyan's response to Moscow.
Press speaker for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tigran Balayan refused to comment on Serzh Sargsyan's response.
"That (Medvedev's proposals-ed.) was the message from the president of one country to the president of another country, and the response should be transmitted through the presidents," said Mr. Balayan.
He mentioned that the RA Foreign Minister is still not expected to visit Moscow.
