Editor-in-chief of Haykakan Zhamanak daily Nikol Pashinyan is not going to waive his claims against Kosh and Nubarashen penitentiaries which inflicted illegal penalty on Pashinyan.

The RA Administrative Court today adjourned the sitting due to defendant's absence.

"We have to struggle against iniquity with all available means. I am going to prove in court that a lawless act has been committed against an Armenian citizen; it doesn't matter whether it is Pashinyan or someone else," Pashinyan told A1+.

Asked what the satisfaction of the claim will give to him, Pashinyan said, "It will mean that we defended our principles."

The former political prisoner has filed five lawsuits against the penitentiary institutions.

Pashinyan says he may push another lawsuit against the Department of Penitentiary Institutions at the Ministry of Justice as "he has unsettled affairs with them."
The next court sitting is set for August 22.
